I didn’t come to this work through wanting to teach movement.
I came to it through learning how to listen.
Like many people, I spent years relating to my body through effort, discipline, and correction. Movement was something to do to myself, not something to be in conversation with. Over time, that approach began to feel incomplete. It taught me how to perform, but not how to sense. How to push, but not how to pause.
What changed everything was slowing down enough to notice what was already there.

When we pause, the body begins to speak in quieter ways. Sensation. Breath. Subtle shifts between tension and ease. Emotion moving through tissue. This capacity to sense our internal world is known as interoception, but it’s something most of us intuitively recognize once we make space for it.
Listening matters because it restores choice.
It allows movement to arise from awareness rather than override it.
It invites trust back into the body.
This is the foundation of my work.

I offer a body-listening approach to movement that emphasizes:
• tuning in to internal sensation
• noticing the signals beneath habit and expectation
• listening closely through slow, restorative, somatic practices
• responding with care rather than correction
The practices I draw from include yin yoga, somatic education, myofascial release, acupressure, gentle kundalini, and subtle energy work. These are not techniques to master, but languages that help us listen more clearly.
The pace is intentionally slow. The atmosphere is supportive. The invitation is always to stay connected to what feels true in your body.

This work is for people who are tired of pushing.
For those navigating stress, transition, burnout, or a changing relationship with movement.
For anyone who senses there is wisdom in the body, but hasn’t been shown how to access it safely or gently.
You don’t need flexibility, strength, or prior experience.
You only need curiosity and a willingness to listen.

You’re welcome to practice with me in different ways, whether through ongoing classes on my YouTube channel, class pack series rentals, focused immersions via Zoom, or an upcoming workshop for deeper exploration of learning to listen and respond to your body with care.
There’s no right place to begin.
Just a moment to pause and listen.
